About Us

Caitlin is an experienced Accredited Practising Dietitian based in Southern Tasmania. She has over 15 years’ experience in community dietetics, specialising in nutrition for older adults for over a decade. Caitlin works closely with in-home care services, meal delivery programs and neighbourhood houses, conducting comprehensive menu reviews, developing and running staff training, helping services to identify and mange malnutrition risk, and developing and reviewing nutrition policies.

Caitlin brings a practical approach to menu assessments and mealtime reviews, she enjoys working with staff to find straightforward and workable solutions to meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences.

In her spare time Caitlin coordinates a local Landcare group, and enjoys growing and cooking food with her young family.

Jaymeila is a highly experienced dietitian from Northern Tasmania, with a strong focus on nutrition for older adults and high quality aged-care food services. Across six years in public health, she has worked extensively in community nutrition for older Tasmanians, supporting meal-delivery services, neighbourhood houses, day centres, and community organisations to improve the safety, satisfaction, and nutritional quality of their menus. Her work includes menu reviews, volunteer training, malnutrition risk identification, and the development of practical resources to support healthy ageing.

As part of the Healthy Ageing Tasmania team, Jaymeila has helped build digital tools and education programs for the In-Home Care sector. She has contributed to national advisory groups for the Commonwealth, providing advice to the Department of Health and Aged Care during program redesign and policy development — ensuring community-based nutrition support is practical, evidence-based, and accessible for diverse populations.

In addition to her community work, Jaymeila has spent two years consulting directly to residential aged care facilities across Tasmania. This has included food-service guidance to support menu reviews and individual nutrition requirements for residents with complex health needs.

Across all sectors, Jaymeila is known for translating nutrition evidence into clear, practical advice — and for creating food-service systems that are not only compliant, but genuinely nourishing.
